Welcome 2017 - My Goals For The Year Ahead

Welcome again to a new year, and for me a new blog.  I've been blogging for 4 years now and felt that I needed a big change, I felt my old blog was more of the old me, the old life that I had left in 2015 nothing of it reflected on me and what life is like now.

So, new year new start goals I want to achieve, places I want to visit, things I want to achieve, I have a whole list written down and I shall try to achieve each and every one of them.  I wanted to share a few here to kick of my first post of 2017.

1 - Visit more places, explore more cities.  This is something that I have never really had the time to do, but I want 2017 to be the year to start this off, whether it be with my children or a girlie weekend away with friends I would love to explore new places so this is one I will be able to tick off this year as one of my good friends had I have booked ourselves a weekend away to Amsterdam.  No I'm not going away to smoke! Its somewhere I've always wanted to go to and they have lots of interesting places to explore and see so that's on my list ticked off for March.

2 - Blog more.  When I started blogging back in 2012 it started off as a pregnancy diary when I was expecting my youngest, it was more personal when I first started then I found as the years built up my blog hadn't turned out the way I had hoped.  It wasn't mine anymore, it was getting full of sponsored posts (yes my own fault) but topics that wouldn't interest me.  I had lost who I was, I had lots of my old life on there and as great as the memories of my children are that just wasn't who I was anymore, before I left my ex partner in 2015 I was in a very unhappy relationship, depressed and didn't know who I was anymore. Now I'm back to ME and it feels amazing, so my new blog will be full of things I love, adventures with my children, personal posts (something I couldn't post on my old blog without getting headache about it)  I'm so excited to start over again.

3 - Be more organised - This is something I haven't been great at in the past so I am going to make life a bit easier for myself and keep things going, plan ahead, make sure I'm up to date with things I need to be and try to keep to routine.  Honestly, life works better with routine especially when you have children!

4 - Purchase a decent camera - I've wanted to get one for ages, I know its going to cost me a small fortune but I really want to be more creative with my photos and obviously for my blog want to have lovely pics.  Also to capture fun moments and special memories with my children.

So there you have it 4 goals, I have lots more on my list but these are just a few that I wanted to share and hopefully 4 that I will achieve this year.

What are your goals/aspirations for this year?
